At approximately 8:03 a.m. a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a vehicle matching the description of a car involved in a homicide in Palm Beach. The vehicle was seen traveling in the area of Powerline Road and West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach. At some point, a pursuit began and BSO’s K-9 and Aviation units were dispatched. The pursuit ended near the 1700 block of East Hillsborough Boulevard in Deerfield Beach after a pit maneuver was implemented by one of our deputies, which caused the vehicle to crash and come to a complete stop. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue was dispatched and an occupant from the vehicle matching the car involved in the homicide was treated on scene for minor injuries. Two subjects are in custody. Crime scene and homicide detectives are on scene and the circumstances behind the incident is being investigated.
