Our engineers have learned that a nearby FDOT stormwater pipe has a leak that has undermined the support of our roadway. The leak has essentially caused the sand (which supports the road) to erode, thus washing away the road’s surface. This has NOT affected water in Deerfield Beach and there is NO BOIL WATER ALERT. Repairs will take some time and will impact traffic during rush hour this afternoon. #DFBTraffic
