By your question, it seems you’re suggesting the deputies were at that location for the purpose of preventing the RV from leaving the beach. That is incorrect.
As part of our hurricane preparedness plan, our deputies provide enhanced presence along Ocean, particularly at 7th (Boca line), 4th, 2nd, & Hills.
Regarding removal of the RV: The BSO Deerfield Beach district has not received communications from the city stating the RV owner expressed a desire or obtained a permit to have the RV removed.
