COLLISION IN DEERFIELD BEACH LEAVES MOTORCYCLIST DEAD

Description of Incident:
A speeding motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a Toyota Corolla on Thursday in Deerfield Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the fatal crash.
Just before 7 a.m. July 19, a Suzuki 1300 was traveling west in the 300 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard when it ran into the eastbound Toyota as the car was making a left turn onto Fairway Drive.
BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the crash site. The motorcyclist, Dominic Capino, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, Carly Sejour, was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was treated for a wound on his arm and released.
Detectives with BSO’s Traffic Homicide Investigation Unit suspect that speed was a contributing factor to the crash. Their investigation continues.
