Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Late yesterday according to ABC the brother of the Parkland shooter was placed on a 72-hour involuntary hold called The Baker Act.

Apparently taken to a mental health facility by the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office at the behest of Broward Sheriffs Office. Seems no one else has published this newsworthy information, or at least I can not find it.

We had a source the night of the massacre tell us that Nikolas Cruz and his brother were supposedly involved. This article by ABC out of Arizona seems to verify some sort of connection.

We have reached out to BSO Media Relations to confirm and find out any other available information.

Hello Media Relations,
Please forward any public records or information/confirmation of the below story ABC in Arizona has published.
“The brother of the accused Parkland shooter has been involuntarily committed to a mental facility, sources tell Scripps station WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Nikolas Cruz’s brother was involuntarily committed to a mental institution, under Florida’s Baker Act.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detained Cruz Friday afternoon, according to sources. The Broward Sheriff’s Office placed the Baker Act on Cruz.
Under Florida’s Baker Act, an adult can be held for an involuntary exam for up to 72 hours under the law. Anyone 17 or younger can be held for up to 12 hours.”
Thank You,
