FHP is reporting the following-The Florida Highway Patrol troopers re-opened the Florida Turnpike’s northbound lanes at Sample after a fatal crash caused a death Saturday Am.
FHP Sgt. John Baker said the driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided with a black Ford Mustang about 6:30 a.m., while attempting to enter the Turnpike.
Firefighters found the driver of the truck was dead. A woman who was in the Mustang was injured.
