What happened was a four year old was reported missing.That triggered over a dozen deputies and BSO Air to begin a several hour search assisted by some citizens
Sun-Sentinel reported that it was Deerfield Beach City Commisioner Ganz who found the child asleep in a car.
Great job commisioner,in helping BSO and other concerned citizens who also searched along with BSO.

A 4-year-old boy was reported missing in the Deer Chase apartment complex. He was found a few hours later in his father’s car. The child had climbed into the car and fell asleep.
