Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking everyone to be on the look out for a man who drove off with a vehicle knowing a 3-year-old was asleep in the back seat.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, November 5, William Rogers, 27, drove a 2013 Burgundy Ford Fusion (Florida Tag GYXL63) to the Valero Gas Station at 2400 W. Sunrise Blvd. with the child’s mother’s boyfriend. When the child’s mother’s boyfriend went to pump gas into the vehicle, the suspect drove off southbound on Northwest 24 Avenue.
Three-year-old Lee Parrish was sleeping in the back seat.
A tri-county B.O.L.O. was issued as well an an Amber Alert.
Anyone with information about the suspect, the vehicle or the child is asked to contact Regional Communications at 954-764-HELP (4357). Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
