Deefield-News.com-Deerfield Beach- The City of Deerfield Beach will celebrate Martin Luther King Junior day on Monday,January 19 2015.All city facilities will be closed except the aquatic center which will be open 9.30 to 4.30 as well The International Fishing Pier will be open.Starting on Friday January 16th thru Monday there will be a carnival as well as music as well as a ceremony and parade honoring Dr.King.
Below are the carnival schedules at Westside Park 445 SW 2ND Street Deerfield Beach.This year’s parade route will begin at the Cove Shopping Center, 1580 SE 3rd Ct., and end at Westside Park with the annual ceremony to honor Dr. King to follow inside the Leo Robb Gymnasium.
Friday, January 16th from 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday, January 17th from 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Sunday, January 18th from 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Monday, January 19th from 1:00pm – 6:00pm.
