Deerfield News.com-Deerfield-Beach, FL- With the loss of millions and millions of dollars ahead from losing Deerfield Beach as a contract city and customer. Sergeant Gregory Tony has sought to pull his budget a little more in line.
In all reality, Sergeant Tony and BSO will more likely than lose Broward County and no longer police Fort Lauderdale Airport or Port Everglades. Again, Sergeant Tony is forward-looking and apparently a little pragmatic, so he is looking for some real budgetary cuts to make up for the shortfall.
Our sources have sent us pre-restoration photos, and the best upgrades and technology will be installed in the new BSO headquarters and patrol cars. Fortunately for Sergeant Tony, the company in charge of the Air Force One Restoration will be brought aboard. Borrowing from the Carabelle Florida Police Department, Tony has ordered the new headquarters and expects delivery by Sept .15TH. It will have his name on the structure.
Sergeant Gregory Tony BSO Headquarters!
As far as the cruisers, HE CUT A DEAL: with the city of Oak Park, which had recently found a lot of old cruisers in a warehouse; these vehicles have extremely low miles, or the odometers were spun back either way. BSO has made the purchase and will upgrade each squad car acquired from Oak Park with the finest technology and Hemi motors.

The Sergeant, in his newfound pragmatism, also realizes Pompano Beach won’t be staying with BSO for police services much longer either. So, in a very short period of a couple of years, there will more likely than not be not only a Deerfield Beach Police and Fire Department. There will also be a Fort Lauderdale Airport Police Department and a Port Everglades Police Department, and we predict a newly reformed Pompano Beach Police Department.
