Morris a great running back and member of the undefeated perfect-season Miami Dolphins of 1972 was 77. Aside from being a Fins fan since childhood l attended a 1972 playoff game at The Orange Bowl. I had the pleasure of meeting Mercury Morris at a Fort Lauderdale restaurant on Andrews Ave about 20 years ago. I thought it was him at the next table and then I saw the ring. He was super friendly and listened to my memories of watching him play at age 10 and 11 in the Orange Bowl. RIP Mercury Morris and may your memory be a blessing!
