Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL- Federal District Court Judge Timothy Kelly of the D.C. District Court, who held a hearing today, has issued a TRO in favor of the plaintiffs suing Donald Trump and members of his administration. Kelly signed the order moments ago, granting the plaintiffs CNN, MSNOW, and Politico a Temporary Restraining Order.
The order commands (except Donald Trump) his administration to give reporters from the three media agencies that banded together to seek injunctive relief unfettered access to the Press Pool and White House press conferences. They must return their confiscated “Hard Press Passes,” which allow reporters to enter the White House press pool.
The ruling shows Plaintiff was denied their right to Due Process, as guaranteed by the Fifth Amendment. The Judge also clearly felt that irreparable harm was being caused, one of the four most important factors needed for injunctive relief. By issuing this TRO, the court also found that the Plaintiffs have a likelihood of success on the merits, the most important of the four factors needed for injunctive relief.
