At a city of Deerfield Beach commission meeting on 1-09-2024, Patricia Sunders was speaking to the dais. She was subsequently arrested for continuing to speak and disregarding orders from then-Mayor Ganz . Three BSO officials approached her and were trying to encourage her to stop speaking and comply with the then-Mayor Ganz’s instructions.
I have watched the video that is posted on Youtube several times.
Three BSO officials approached Ms. Saunders and were trying to encourage her to stop speaking and comply with the then-Mayor Ganz’s instructions.
I support the First Amendment and everything it stands for. That said, there are rules at public meetings, including City of Deerfield Beach commission meetings.
Ms. Saunders, like every American, is presumed innocent, and apparently she will have her day in court.
