Sam Reinhart scored four goals, the hat trick plus one, the first hat trick in the Panthers franchise playoff history. Matt Tkachuk also scored a goal. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 27 of 28 shots, and the Panthers took the championship in game six.
Tonight in Sunrise, Florida, at the Amerant Bank Arena, “The Florida Panthers” beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-1, winning their second straight Stanley Cup. This was the Panthers’ third appearance in three years in the Stanley Cup finals. The Panthers also made it to the Stanley Cup finals in 1996. The Panthers took the series-winning game tonight at home in Sunrise.
