At approximately 11:42 a.m. on Wednesday, Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a crash near the 4700 block of Northwest 48th Street in unincorporated North Broward. Broward Sheriff’s Office district deputies responded. On scene, deputies learned the crash involved a moving vehicle and a truck that was pulling a trailer, which was parked on the road. The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle struck the driver of the truck while he was outside the truck. The driver of the truck was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene. BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit detectives responded and are currently investigating this incident.
