Todays email specifically mentions Clouds Spa located at 822 S.E 9th Street in Deerfield Beach. This is just one of a couple of dozen located in the city of Deerfield Beach.
I personally do not care what 2 consenting adults do privately if no one is being hurt. I get it is called “The World’s Oldest Profession For A Reason”. Unfortunately, the laws in our state make prostitution illegal. The other issues, aside from bothering neighbors who live near these storefront operations, are human trafficking. Law Enforcement knows what is going on. Several of our neighboring counties have task forces and are raiding and arresting both the Johns and the hookers at these rub n tug operations continuously. I have received many emails from residents,
SOME ARE ANONYMOUS, BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANY LESS VALID. I received one today where the writer has claimed to have contacted BSO, BSO Internal Affairs, and our Mayor and Commissioners.

Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL-The city of Deerfield Beach is still rife with a proliferation of “Massage Parlors”. Now, while they might massage something for a little extra “Happy Endings” still, BSO and other police agencies allow these stores to operate. The city of Deerfield Beach also has a responsibility to the community to not just license these operations, knowing what they are.
Where are they? All over the city in strip shopping centers, most of which are owned by James and Marta Batmasian.Investments Unlimited is not the only landlord renting to “Rub N Tugs,” but they seem to have way more of them than other landlords.
No secret what is going on here, and child trafficking is not a joke. In a city where our politicians’ regular campaign contributor is James Batmasian, anyone who wonders why no one does anything or says anything about this problem. Time to rid our city of these establishments; we do not have that many sore muscles in the entire county. It is time our city stops seeking these types of businesses and issuing licenses.
Boca Raton is just as bad. They too need to do the same.
Real massage therapists also lose in this give a license to any applicant for money business that our city participates in.
The last sting operation seems to have been in 2019. When multiple agencies raided Deerfield Beach “Massage Parlors”.
The hundreds of names that were released as the public records became available of the men who patronize these salons.
Do not forget folks some of our elected officials have been arrested and convicted of solicitation.
Be careful “Johns” you have a responsibility in the sex trafficking that goes on in this industry that is prevalent in Deerfield Beach, too.
Gentlemen, I understand who the Batmasians are, but the proliferation of these Rub N Tugs needs to be dealt with by BSO. Then hopefully Deerfield Beach Police. But while we still have the services of BSO, I urge you all to speak to our District Chief, who is a good guy and directly to Sheriff Gregory Tony as well. A task force is not too much to ask for to deal with this issue. If we do re-form the Deerfield Beach Police again, certainly our new Chief he or she should be making this a priority.
