Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL- A person has died, apparently after jumping onto the Tri-Rail track as a train approached. Tri-Rail service has been temporarily halted as authorities conduct their investigation. The incident was reported shortly before 8 am this morning.
Tri-Rail is stating that someone jumped from the platform at 3301 Northwest Eighth Avenue, Pompano Beach, directly into the path of the train on the tracks. BSO is on the scene.
