Deerfield Beach Announces Dazzling 4th of July Celebration Drone Show
The City of Deerfield Beach is thrilled to announce its Annual 4th of July Celebration, taking place on Friday, July 4th, at the Main Beach Parking Lot (149 SE 21st Ave). This year’s festivities promise an unforgettable evening for all ages, highlighted by Deerfield Beach’s first-ever 4th of July DRONE show!
Beginning at 4:00 PM, attendees can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere featuring live entertainment, a diverse selection of food trucks, local vendors offering unique goods, refreshing cold beverages, and engaging activities for children. The celebration will culminate with a spectacular drone show illuminating the night sky at 9:00 PM.
Important Road and Facility Closures to Note:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all, several road and facility closures will be in effect:
- Beach and Volleyball Courts: The beach and volleyball courts from the Pier to NE 4th Ct. will be completely closed to the public on July 4th in preparation for the drone show. They will reopen on July 5th.
- International Fishing Pier and Pier Parking Lot: These facilities will remain closed for ongoing renovations.
- Road Closures (July 4th, reopening morning of July 5th):
- NE 2nd St to NE 21st Ave
- Ocean Way from Hillsboro Boulevard to SE 4th Street
- Main Beach Parking Lot
- Lot behind Ocean Rescue
- SE 2nd Street at A1A
- SE 1st Street at A1A
- Road and Bridge Closures (July 4th, 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM):
- Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge
- A1A from Hillsboro Boulevard to SE 3rd Street
- Ocean Way at NE 21st Ave
- Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge: The bridge will remain in the locked-down position from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM to facilitate pedestrian traffic.
Parking and Shuttle Information:
Parking on the barrier island will be limited during the event. Complimentary parking will be available at:
- Sullivan Park
- St. Ambrose Catholic Church & School (380 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441)
Attendees can choose to walk across the bridge to the event from these parking areas or utilize the complimentary shuttle service.
Shuttle Service Schedule (between St. Ambrose Catholic School (EAST SIDE) and the Main Beach Parking Lot):
- Continuous service: 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- NO service: 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM (due to the closing of the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge)
- Continuous service resumes: 11:00 PM and runs until 12:00 AM
Important Reminder:
NO FIREWORKS ARE PERMITTED ON THE BEACH, STREET, OR PUBLIC PROPERTY. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY THE BROWARD SHERRIFF’S OFFICE.
