Coconut Creek Police arrested Jose Camacho Turo, 43, of Miami on August 17 after finding him unconscious behind the wheel of a stolen car. The incident happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 4800 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard. Upon awakening him, officers discovered evidence of drug use and subsequently searched the vehicle. Inside, they found methamphetamine and 18 stolen credit cards. The car itself was reported stolen from Homestead. Officers charged Camacho Turo with grand theft auto, possession of methamphetamine, and 18 counts of possessing a stolen credit card. He is currently in the Broward County Jail.
