BSO DETECTIVES SEARCH FOR MISSING 16-YEAR-OLD 

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 16-year-old girl.

According to detectives, Samya Harris was last seen around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, in the area of State Road 7 and Oakland Park Boulevard in Lauderdale Lakes. Harris is about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 147 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and a tattoo of the word “Brittany” in red ink on her left forearm.
