Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Yesterday while on a trip to the south part of Broward, we found Mitch’s Downtown Bagel in Hallandale. Over the years we have read quite a few pieces in local newspapers and online sites like Newsbreak and Google News about Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe. They now have three locations Downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Weston and Hallandale. We tried our standard poppyseed bagel with a schmear of cream cheese.
Mitch’s was clean, the the staff was super friendly and prompt in taking and getting our take-out order handled. We have the video of the trunk top taste test below. Mitch’s earned a That’s Nectar on our review. For years, my favorite Bagel Shop was “The Sage” in Hallandale. Mitch’s Downtown might have just become my new favorite I Broward, well worth the drive and we will be at the Fort Lauderdale shop soon, just to check out the consistency.
