Always allow a motorcyclist a full lane width; do not share lanes since the motorcycle needs room to maneuver safely.
Always check your mirrors and blind spots thoroughly before entering or leaving a lane of traffic and at intersections.

We agree with BSO as to the need for awareness and giving motorcycles their space. We all want arrive safely.
That said we have concerns about motorcyclists some of whom endanger drivers when they split lanes to try and get to the head of the line at a stop sign or traffic signal. When a biker is driving past a car in their blind spot it is the biker who is creating the danger and breaking the law. Traffic enforcement in Broward for these bikers should be stepped up it is a daily occurrence.
