The BSO Public Information Office is currently working a developing incident regarding a fatal shooting located at: the 3000 block of West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac.

At approximately 8:19 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a shooting near the 3000 block of West Commercial Boulevard in Tamarac. Broward Sheriff’s Office district deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located a child suffering from a gunshot wound. The child was accompanied by an adult female. Deputies quickly established a perimeter to investigate. Paramedics pronounced the child deceased on scene. BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives were notified and are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to this fatal shooting.
