Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-As we have posted the cost of the new lifeguard stands the city of Deerfield Beach has just purchased we are checking the cost neighboring cities have paid.
Deerfield-News.com has been told by several sources and readers that the price paid by Deerfield Beach is the current market price for lifeguard stands. The Inspector General apparently investigated the cost in a neighboring city and found the cost to be feasible as we posted a couple of days ago.
We have requested the costs paid from Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Pompano Beach, and Hollywood. The city has made it clear that since 2020 lifeguard stands were in need of replacement.
We also wish to clarify that whatever the cost as a resident we want the best equipment for our lifeguards.
