At approximately 11:35 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a shooting on Interstate 95 northbound, south of Broward Boulevard in unincorporated Broward County. Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded and located an adult male that had been shot while driving on the interstate. The victim was transported by paramedics to an area hospital with injuries listed as life threatening. At the request of FHP, detectives with Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
