Shortly after 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 27, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to a call about a body found floating in a lake near the 100 block of Ellesmere C in Deerfield Beach. BSO’s Dive Team also responded, and an adult male was located and pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics. Crime scene and homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation continues.
