DEERFIELD-NEWS.COM-DEERFIELD BEACH, FL-The smoke across Broward skies today is coming from a fire in the Everglades. Apparently started by a lightning strike last night according to the Florida Forrest Service. The fire is burning in the conservation area North West of Markham Park. About 220 acres of land have been affected so far.
