At approximately 7:48 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 10, Broward Regional Communications received a call regarding a multiple vehicle collision near the 600 block of Southeast 10 Street in Deerfield Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office Deerfield Beach district deputies responded to the scene. According to investigators, one vehicle was traveling eastbound on Southeast 10 Street when it struck another vehicle. When one of the drivers exited the car, a third vehicle struck that driver and then crashed into a wood light pole. Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue responded and transported that driver to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. FPL was notified and the road was closed temporarily. No further details at this time.
