There are only a handful of people that have had a profound impact on my life, thus far & Mr. Dunn (because I could never bring myself to call him Jim) is one of these special soulsWhen I heard the news today of his passing @ the Diner, I went in our office, shed my tears, collected myself, and remembered his last visit couple of weeks ago. I know for sure from our first encounter to our last, he loved his family, his friends, small business, community & philanthropyHis charisma, camaraderie, & no-nonsense approach will inspire me & last me a lifetime! I owe him a debt of gratitude, for when I was a young single mom, he gave me an opportunity to volunteer & give back through the early days of Dunn’s Run. He would set up a corner for my toddler to play while us adults took care of philanthropy business. I will never forget this nicety . To his family, my deepest condolencesTo his friends my deepest sympathiesTo ALL, this great man started a dream in our community that we all need to continueI will forever look at my wedding ring & know that Mr. Dunn had a hand in this
