Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach-This morning’s police activity at the beach was a chase of migrants landing in Hillsboro beach. T The following information is from the Hillsboro Beach Police via Nixle. Witnesses told us that the boat was a twin-engine motorboat that the migrants jumped into the ocean from it as it beached. The chase was on local police from Hillsboro beach aided by BSO and Border Patrol and U.S Coast Guard were involved. The authorities were using helicopters and boats as well as patrol vehicles to round up the migrants that fled. Hillsboro Beach Police say that all of the migrants were placed into custody by Border Patrol.
