Deerfield-Nes.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-As primary election day is just over a month away former Broward Sheriff Scott Israel announced he has tested positive for the virus. Reports have Israel being admitted to a hospital for treatment. Israel who was removed from office by Governor Ron Desantis and replaced by Tony Gregory is on the ballot for the democratic primary running for Sheriff again. Scott Israel is the only duly elected Sheriff in Florida that has been removed from office by a Governor.
