Deerfield-news.com-Deerfield beach, Fl-A day after Miami mayor Suarez implemented an emergency order mandating citizens to wear a mask in public, Palm Beach enacted a law today also. With a 7-0 vote, this morning Palm Beach County Commissioners enacted an Emergency order making it mandatory for most to wear a mask in public.
Florida’s Coronavirus cases have spiked the last week and have set new highs in hospitalizations and new cases.
County health department director Dr. Alina Alonso said “Some hospitals have dusted off their surge capacity plans. We have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best,” Alino added, “There’s no room for politics. The only enemy is the virus, not each other”
