Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl- In the case of the being short of land for the new gatehouse and exits and the condo commando that did not want to sell it. Seems the new exit lane is going to be very tight on space. One of the main concerns going into this project was the availability of the land to successfully make three drivable lanes. This morning I drove out to see the “Westgate Guardhouse” construction project and noticed the curbing on the exit lane. I am sure as this project is finishing and gets ready to open Century Villagers will be scraping their tires. Now I have no scientific proof of this just an educated guess of studying over 46 years of driving in the village. The new curbs are for sure going to be an issue with a lot of Century Village drivers, especially at night.
