Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Today Dr.Birx announced that the projections for dead Americans from Coronavirus will be 100000,-240,000 with full mitigation.
Dr. Birx said “It’s devastatingly worrisome to me personally because if they go home and infect their grandmother or their grandfather who has a co-morbid condition and they have a serious or a very — or an unfortunate outcome, they will feel guilty for the rest of our lives,”
“We also made it very clear to the American people, this is what you need to continue to do to protect yourself. You need to continue to social distance. You need to continue to practice scrupulous handwashing,” Birx said.
Birx also added projections,” have always been between 100,000 and 240,000 American lives lost, and that’s with full mitigation and us learning from each other of how to social distance.”
Deerfield-News.com believes these numbers are on the low side. If you extrapolate the current rates of infection and deaths in the US the numbers will be higher than 100,000-240,000 projected.
