Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Deerfield-News.com posted recently that Temple Beth Israel had a parking issue with the City of Deerfield Beach. Temple Beth Israel located in Century Plaza at the southwest corner of Miltary and Hillsboro is Deerfield Beach’s oldest Jewish congregation. It seems there is more than a parking space issue between the city and the Synagogue. The following information was received from a recent public records request.

with the following requirements: Foundations, floors, walls, ceilings,
roofs, windows, doors and all other exterior building parts shall be
structurally sound, weatherproof, watertight and rodent proof, and shall
be kept in a good state of repair. Roof surfaces shall be weathertight
and watertight to prevent rainwater from entering or causing dampness
in any portion of the building or structure. Roofs shall be maintained to
minimize discoloration of the surface that is caused by mildew or mold.
Where water is permitted to stand on a roof for cooling purposes, the
roof must be designed for that purpose and proper precautionary
measures taken to prevent breeding of mosquitoes and other similar
insects.
