A missing Pompano Beach woman was found deceased in her vehicle Wednesday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, Broward Sheriff’s Office Pompano Beach deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to 3091 N. Federal Highway (McDonald’s parking lot) in Pompano Beach after a passerby called police. Arriving deputies discovered the body of an adult female, Stacey Damato, deceased in her 2014 Cadillac CTS.

The incident is being investigated as a death investigation pending results from the Medical Examiner’s office, but at this time it is not believed to be suspicious.
