Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives arrested a Boynton Beach man for the shooting death of a man at the Breezy Hill RV Resort in Deerfield Beach last week.

Around 6:45 p.m. Oct. 18, neighbors at the Breezy Hill RV Resort heard gunshots and saw a subject, later identified as Ethan Guinazzo, fleeing from a residence at 517 N.E. 47th Ct. in Deerfield Beach. When neighbors arrived at the scene, they found the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was laying on the kitchen floor calling for help.

They called 911, and one of the neighbors remained with the victim applying pressure to his wounds until BSO and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue arrived. The victim was transported to Broward Health North where he was later pronounced dead.

BSO detectives obtained surveillance of a silver SUV entering and exiting the RV resort around the time of the shooting, which matched the description of the vehicle witnesses saw leaving the residence.

Guinazzo was taken into custody around 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in Palm Beach County. He faces one charge of murder in the first degree with a firearm.
