Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-BSO Fire Rescue PIO Chief Michael Kane has confirmed the following. A 25-foot boat was fully engulfed in flames when BSO Fire Rescue arrived. The cause at this time is unknown. Firefighters fought the blaze using foam.BSO had the fire extinguished after 30 minutes. One patient was transported to Broward Health North for smoke inhalation and burns. An unknown quantity of fuel spilled into the waterway and was contained by the BSO hazmat unit. The vessel is a total loss. The incident happened at Yacht Club One Marina along Federal Highway.
