Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-In a $335,000 clusterf*ck the city has two abandoned ships awash on our beach. The city of Deerfield Beach appears to have no clue as to how to get the reef completed and the tug and barge removed. City officials including new city manager Santucci have been spotted walking the beach this morning. Residents are concerned about a fuel spill and the fact it appears no precautions are being taken to avoid this or to warn others of the danger.
Deerfield Beach has failed in the past, but this time they really seem to have excelled at failing to launch a reef that would spell out DFB and could be seen from above. Seems the city and its contractor have some explaining to do.
