Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Traffic is blocked off at Military and Tenth Street in Deerfield Beach as a result of the early morning crash. Reports are that a BSO deputy was killed in the crash. The deputy was on duty and responding to a domestic violence call. The crash involved the deputies cruiser and a pickup truck. Both drivers were transported to Broward Health North where the deputy was pronounced dead.

Media staging has been set up at the southwest corner of Military Trail and Southwest 10th Street. (Exit at Sample Road; head north on Military Trail.)
A BSO public information officer will be on scene at approximately: 6:20 AM.
