Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-As per public records request the City of Deerfield Beach has sent us proof they spent over $106.000 plus  for the event.

The Big Buck Festival was held on August 2, 2018, the next one is already scheduled. Here is our original post where the city Public Affairs Director is stating that the city is paying less than the sponsors.

Yes, that true the city spent $106,073 and sponsors paid $175,000 a total of $281 073.

Deerfield-News.com is happy the city can afford to sponsor along with Coca-Cola, Ruth Chris Steak House the Big Buck Music Fest, just curious how many “Bucks” is the city of Deerfield Beach spending? The reason for asking appeared in the Sun-Sentinel when Deerfield Beach’s Rebecca median Stewart said:” estimated that the sponsors are paying about $175,000 — more than the city’s contribution — to put on the event”. So here is our latest Public Records request which I must send to the city clerk as the city has instituted a policy of allowing no communication from Ms. Medina with Deerfield-News.com.
