Some believe our commissioners are not receiving the financial statements from the City Manager. Specifically, Deerfield Beach Politics Facebook group is questioning Commissioner Drosky. Deerfield Beach Politics asserts Deerfield Beach-Ordinance Sec 38-92 – that states the “City manager to provide monthly expenditure reports to the city commission. The City manager shall be responsible for providing the city Commission monthly reports indicating the amount of budgeted funds expended by each department expressed as both a dollar figure and percentage of the departments budget for the fiscal year.”I

WHO IS THIS GUY TODD DROSKY – COMMISSIONER OF DISTRICT 4 IN DEERFIELD BEACH?
HE IS AN ATTORNEY I WAS TOLD – SO HE HAS SOME TYPE FORMAL EDUCATION. ITS EMBARRASSING!
ITS OBVIOUS THAT HE DOES NOT NO THE FIRST THING ABOUT BUSINESS, OR RUNNING AN OPERATION FROM A FINANCIAL STAND POINT. BUT THEN HE PLAYS THE PEOPLE, THE RESIDENTS OF DEERFIELD BEACH WHO HE IS SUPPOSE TO BE REPRESENTING, AND THIS IS WHERE I HAVE A REAL PROBLEM.
WE LEARNED AFTER NEARLY A YEAR IN OFFICE THAT TODD DROSKY HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVING THE FINANCIAL EXPENDITURES AND REVENUE REPORTS ACCORDING TO:
Ordinance Sec 38-92 – that states the “City manager to provide monthly expenditure reports to the city commission. THESE INDIVIDUALS ON THE DAIS REPRESENTING US ARE THOSE THAT WE GIVE OUR TRUST TOO. AND IT WAS CLEAR AT THE LAST TWO COMMISSION MEETINGS THAT JUST LIKE TODD DROSKY, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVING THE FINANCIAL REPORTS ACCORDING TO OUR OWN STATUTES ABOVE.

SOMEBODY IS CLEARLY LYING, AND FOR SOME REASON I DO NOT THINK TODD WOULD LIE TO THOSE HE REPRESENTS. HOWEVER, IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NOT AN EXCUSE WHICH INCIDENTLY IS A BASIC PRINCIPLE IN LAW, THAT ALL LAWYERS CLEARLY KNOW AND UNDERSTAND.
