Let us review our new chicken possibilities, so on the North East corner of Hillsboro back in the old Wendy’s will be the Colonel. KFC will also be returning to Deerfield Beach for the first time in years.
For those of us that remember they were once on the other side of the road where the Starbucks is and on Federal Highway. Now PDQ will be built pretty much where the Colonel used to be. Then both will be competing with the very busy “Chick fil A” which has an out parcel in Deerfield Mall on the South West corner of Hillsboro and Powerline Road.

A friendly down-home neighborhood joint called Tenders with the tastiest, freshest, made-from-scratch chicken tenders. They made a deal on the spot with mom and pop, and in 2011 opened the first PDQ in Tampa, Florida. Best road trip, ever.
Bob and Nick knew they had something special at the opening of our first Tampa restaurant on Halloween weekend. Car lines wrapped around the building, and folks kept coming back for more.
From the beginning, Bob and Nick believed food should be fresh, fast and affordable. They believed in working with good people. And, they believed in unwavering quality and hospitality.
