The incident happened Sunday BSO is now reporting the 22 month old child has died.Witnesses say the driver was dragged out of her SUV and beaten by angry bystanders until police arrived at the scene.The driver according to witnesses suffered from a broken nose and bloody eyesockets was beaten severely.
Neallie Junior Saxon III, 22 months old, was struck and killed after chasing a ball into the street in Florida Sunday.

At approximately 4:45 p.m. Deerfield Beach deputies responded to a report of a child struck, and seriously injured, by a car near the above address. The child was air lifted to Broward Health Medical Center. The driver remained on scene. Traffic Homicide Investigation detectives are investigating.
