Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-The other night I saw several “Community Notices” on Google News It appears The City of Deerfield Beach held some sort of “Public Meeting” except the public was not invited ,nor to the best of my knowledge wanted. I have requested from Mayor Ganz a statement to clarify what this is all about.The Mayor did communicate with me via Facebook messenger,but I still have no idea and have not received any information.I understand all of our elected officials are busy,they are swamped I get it.That said the citizens of Deerfield Beach have a right to know about this meeting or meetings..The meeting occurred after Hurricane Irma while the city was closed at City Hall.Mayor has indicated it was not related to the hurricane.The link from Google News does go to Deerfield-Beach.com,but the link just brings you to an unrelated item on the cities E-Services page.
The other information we also are waiting for pertains to what the City of Deerfield Beach has done or asked BSO or BSO Fire Rescue to do to make sure our seniors were checked up on.
