This has been brought to my attention apparently the city has been put on notice by the county or state our water treatment plant has a rust problem.While I wait for the public records,is there anything you can tell me or issue a statement on behalf of the City of Deerfield Beach about this.

This issue is not going away,we are waiting for both The State of Florida and Deerfield Beach public records requests. The requests when answered will prove The City of Deerfield Beach has been put on notice of this issue,with our water treatment plant which purifies our drinking water.The cost to fix is one issue. How the city does it while still supplying drinking water when the only water treatment plant we have, will have to be closed to repair the rust issue.
We were hoping for an answer explaining the situation.While everyone should be concerned that our water is safe to drink, we never said the water in Deerfield Beach did not meet federal drinking water standards.Our question is about the County and State raising an issue of “RUST” to The City of Deerfield Beach.The citizens of Deerfield Beach should know what exactly is going on with our water.
