The BSO Public Information Office is currently working a developing incident regarding a Deputy assaulted located at: 2009 NE 2nd St., Deerfield Beach.

BSO deputies are currently searching for a subject who assaulted a deputy in Deerfield Beach.
Around 8 p.m., a deputy on foot patrol at the above plaza was asked by the manager of the Burger Fi to assist with removing an unruly customer from the business. The subject became combative and began fighting with the deputy.
The subject was pepper sprayed and fled on foot. A search is underway to locate the subject.
