BSO Sheriff Scott Israel recognizes #DFB Mayor Ganz for helping them locate a missing boy several weeks ago.
“I’m awarding this to the citizen Bill Ganz, because on that night you acted as a concerned citizen and were instrumental in getting that little boy back to his family.”

Search For Boy Ends Happy!
Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach Fl,-A search that involved over a dozen BSO Deputies and civilians ended happily.Last evening we had reader reports of heavy police activty including BSO Air Unit near Powerline and Hillsboro on the North West side. What happened was a four year old was reported missing.That triggered over a dozen deputies and BSO Air to begin a several hour search assisted by some citizens
Sun-Sentinel reported that it was Deerfield Beach City Commissioner Ganz who found the child asleep in a car.
Great job commissioner,in helping BSO and other concerned citizens who also searched along with BSO!

A 4-year-old boy was reported missing in the Deer Chase apartment complex. He was found a few hours later in his father’s car. The child had climbed into the car and fell asleep.
