Broward Sheriffs Office Public Information Officer Gina Carter reports An armed robbery took place at 2.14 PM involving two suspects.
BSO established a perimeter which has since been taken down. No one is in custody at this time. No one was injured during the robbery. More details to follow from Deerfield-News.com

Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit investigators are searching for a two-man team of armed robbers who targeted a check cashing store in Pompano Beach this morning. Detectives believe they are the same men responsible for an armed robbery Friday at Class Jewelers in Deerfield Beach. During both robberies, the men dressed as women to disguise their appearances.
Just after 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to 1749 N. Powerline Rd. in Pompano Beach regarding a report of an armed robbery by two armed men dressed as women. The robbers forced the employees to the back of the store.
On March 3, security cameras captured two men disguised as women entered Class Jewelers at 3756 W. Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach. The men lured the two female employees to the sales floor under the guise of looking for a wedding ring. One of the robbers brandished a gun, and suddenly both men jumped over the counter and cornered the two women. They forced the employees to the back room and commenced ransacking the display cases.
