Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl- Tonight in Deerfield Beach Century Village Ventor B fire struck again.This is a building with 20 units of which only ten are occupied due to 12 plus years of litigation from the last fire.Tonight’s fire which caused the death of a service cat started in the kitchens microwave.BSO Fire Rescue attempted to revive the service cat but was not successful.Several unit owners appeared to be headed toward a stay at a hotel or with Red Cross.As of this posting even though the fire has been extinguished BSO Fire Rescue is stil on the scene,clearing smoke.
This is one of several recent fires suffered in Century Village,just a couple of months ago in Newport a woman died from smoke inhalation in a bedroom fire.
